Fortuna Beer

The Three Graces Brewing co. is a company I created inspired by the Greek mythology as The Three Graces are goddesses of such things as charm, beauty, and creativity. Fortuna, in Roman religion, goddess of fertility and good fortune but mainly her association with the bounty of the soil and the fruitfulness of women. I chose feminine renaissance figures as people often choose a drink according to the name or fantasy that they are buying into. It gives the drink a seductive demeaner. The story behind the sparkling cider is the beautiful goddess Fortuna was bewitched by a sacred guarded fountain which she wasn’t supposed to go near. She couldn’t resist the urge. But then she fell, creating the greatest cider that would withstand time. I feel as though beer fantasy and stories are always a little funny or crazy, just makes for good marketing and helps the brand to stand out from the rest.
